Brian Kaufman is a national Emmy award winning video journalist who was named 2009 Young Journalist of the Year by the Detroit Chapter of Society of Professional Journalist. His contributions to Web production and multimedia have pushed the forefront of news delivery in a digital world. Through a compelling mix of cinematography and traditional still photography, Brian’s style of visual storytelling is an intimate reflection of the subjects that he works with. Poor Man's Art Collective is a platform for unknown and emerging artists from visual to spoken word and art in all forms to showcase their talents, also to provide support and direction in navigating the process that allows their work to be shown (heard) to an otherwise untapped community and consumer market.
Jane of Arc
Jane of Arc is a Michigan based, indie-acoustic-pop duo featuring Chelsea Carter and Elida Quesada. The group formed in 2007 through the social site, MySpace. The group has recently released their first LP "Freedom in Falling." The group calls it their "labor of love." The duo has performed all around Michigan including Ferndale Pride and Arts, Beats and Eats.
